Welcome to Vision Training Associates, Inc.!

At Vision Training Associates, we proudly provide the highest quality strength-based products and services. Engaging national subject matter experts, researchers, and authors we produce resources to address the needs of today’s practitioners serving children and youth.

Our primary roles are serving as 1.) a partner in the National Center on Safe Supportive Learning Environments (NCSSLE), a national resource for school climate content related to Engagement, Safety, and Environment.  (NCSSLE is funded by the U.S. Department of Education) and 2.) the parent organization for Bolster Collaborative, Inc., where you will find numerous FREE resources and opportunity to access exclusive content available ONLY to our Premium Members. Through Bolster Collaborative, we co-sponsor the annual Positive Youth Development Institute and are a member of the national Youth Thrive Training Collaborative.

 

NCSSLE Tasks

A primary task for our work at the National Center on Safe Supportive Learning Environments is the production of various toolkits or resource packages. In the past six years, we have produced:

  • Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment on Our Nation’s School Buses
  • Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment in Our Nation’s Classrooms
  • Get Smart, Get Help, Get Safe (For specialized Instructional Support Personnel to address teen dating violence.)
  • Addressing the Root Causes of Disparities in School Discipline
  • Safe Place: Trauma-Sensitive Practice for Health Centers Serving Higher Education Students
  • Safe Place to Learn: Prevent, Intercede, and Respond to Sexual Harassment of K-12 Students
